Celebrating the New Year by Raymond Zhu
Celebrating the Spring Festival Modern poetry,
The New Year is a seed that crosses the emotional village
and sticks to the land with its chest.
In the warm season, it lights the dry flame of spring,
shining on mother’s silver hair.
The little body is filled with a grand spring!
The sound of joining one after another extends into a string of spring notes.
To celebrate the Spring Festival,
the modern poetry calendar gently opens to a new page.
Oh, the new year comes quietly to us with bright sunshine,
and we enjoy the joy with cheering hearts.
In the new year,
you have given us a lot of expectations and yearnings.
The New Year Is Coming by George Liu
January is almost over
soon it will be February
I know the new year is coming in a very short time
everyone everywhere will go home
to visit missing parents
or children
A year of hard work is all for these few days
to celebrate and revel
during the festival
roadside shops are closed
all I can see is red
and fireworks in the night sky。
